Send us a photo of a home — your own or one you’d like to own — that epitomizes what living in Maine means to you for a chance to win prizes and publication in Down East magazine and on Mainehomes.com. Two pro-photographer judges will select a winner and runners-up. Photos must be taken in Maine. All photographs must be original works by the entrant. Deadline: June 21, 2017.

Description: This cottage was built in Harpswell in 1910 by the Austin Family. It was originally named Wildwood because of all the trees in the area. Frank Sabasteanski bought it in 1955 and it remains in the family today. There have been 3 grandchildren married there. Summertime spent with Frank and Barbara's Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. The family sits on this front porch daily in the summer watching the lobster boats and the seagulls in the bay. Kids and Adults walk out to the island to skip rocks. At night time is spent across the bay at Estes Lobster House for dinner.
